The workshop was completed on April 15, 2020. The entire construction process took 69 days. The supply cycle for MAX cleanroom panel was only 20 days, and the uninterrupted supply of 30,000 square meters had to be completed.

After preliminary on-site assessment by biosafety experts, the construction standards and quality levels meet the requirements of biosafety protection, creating the "Vulcan Mountain" speed for the construction of domestic vaccine workshops. At present, the new crown vaccine has been put into large-scale production, and the production capacity is expected to reach more than 1 billion doses in 2021; currently, the Beijing Institute Of The Biological Products Co., Ltd has new projects under construction to further rapidly increase production capacity.
